Tip for when starting to learn the Art of Chainmaille
If you're new to chainmaille, I've got two key tips to help you master the craft! However, I have learned some people do better learning scalemaille first and if you are interested in scalemaille here is a link to a retreat where I am teaching it next year in Texas. https://christisecreations.com/collections/retreats/products/scalemaille-retreat-in-glen-rose-texas

Start with the basics.
While it's tempting to jump into intricate weaves right away, mastering simple weaves like the 2-in-1 or 4-in-1 first will build a strong foundation. These weaves teach you ring placement and pattern recognition, which are essential for more advanced designs later on. -
Work on your jump ring closures.
Clean closures make all the difference! Practice closing your jump rings as smoothly as possible so that they align seamlessly. It’s the little details that elevate your chainmaille from good to amazing.
Whether you're just getting started or refining your skills, these fundamentals are the building blocks of stunning creations. Here is a link to a YouTube video that I did on open and closing jump rings. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HP-Lef9ixQ
